TERMS & CONDITIONS
By approving these terms & conditions and submitting your order, a binding agreement is entered into.
1.1 By ordering items via the web shop the customer makes an offer to conclude a purchase agreement.
1.2 The web shop of yyakar could be subject to change, yet we thrive to update as accurate as possible. We reserve the right not to deliver in the event if the stock level was incorrect or in the event of unforeseen circumstances at the time of receiving the order.
1.3 We reserve the right to alter or adjust the price of our products at any given time at our discretion. We also reserve the right to mention the right price for an item when it was incorrectly mentioned on the website at the time of placing an order.
1.4 When we are unable to deliver, in accordance with the terms in the confirmation of order and confirmation email about the delivery time, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. If the payment has been made in advance, your money will be refunded within 30 days. In the event of late deliveries a new delivery date will be offered. If this is not suitable then you have the right to cancel the order.
2.1 We offer payments via iDeal (free), bank transfer upfront (free) and against a fee VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, SofortBanking / DIRECTebanking, Bancontact / Mister Cash and Belfius.
2.2 When your order is submitted, you receive a notice about the payment of your purchase.
2.3 For questions about your order, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and mention your name, order number and the purchased products. We will reply within three days.
3 Shipping & Delivery
3.1 All deliveries in the Netherlands will be delivered by PostNL. For orders above € 100,- no delivery cost is charged. For orders below € 100,- the delivery cost is € 6,95. Once given to PostNL delivery will in general occur within 48 hours.
For the following countries we have a fixed delivery cost: Belgium € 12,50, Germany € 12,50, France € 18,50 and the United Kingdom € 18,50. For delivery to other countries please contact us.
The cost are based on the average weight and delivery/shipping location. Sometimes these charges are high. We will work hard to keep these costs very minimal, so they won't influence your purchase.
3.2 International customs duties and sales taxes of your order will not be refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).
4 Delivery status
4.1 When your order leaves our warehouse you will receive a dispatch number from PostNL via e-mail to track your order.
5 Product quality– defective products
5.1 The photos shown on the webshop and galleries are carefully shot by yyakar. This to show you every detail we like about our beautiful products. Our goal is to make photos where the product is shown at his best. If in some way the actual product is damaged or doesn't correspondent with the images presented in the gallery, please contact us within 24 hours after you received the products/goods. Email us a photograph of the goods to email@example.com and we will contact you within the period of 3 days.
5.2 First we try to see if it is possible to return, repair or remedy the fault of the product. If this is not possible, we will replace the product. If we are unable to replace the product or remedy the fault then you can return the product all in accordance with article 6.
5.3 When we have received the product and approved the claim, you will be informed and a new product will be sent to you or we will refund you for the product. The return-delivery cost are for the customer.
6 yyakar return and refund policy
6.1 You have the right to open the package and check the contents, but the product must be returned unused. The return or refund must be filed 14 days after receiving your product/merchandise. All original packaging, price labels etc shall be returned with the product without having been tampered with. Please note that you are responsible for the product until it reaches us. Please return the package with a dispatch number, so that it can be traced by us. Merchandise must be accompanied by both the original sales receipt and a return authorization number. To receive a return authorization number please fill out the return form.
yyakar is not responsible for any return delivery costs.
Customised products/articles and products/articles on sale can’t be returned.
6.2 Return Policy Requirements
We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange if the product/merchandise in question does not meet our standards. Where provided, all original packaging to accompany the item must be included and returned in its original condition. Clothing which have signs of wearing, stains or are damaged may not be accepted, and may be sent back to the customer.
6.3 Unauthorised Returns
Any product/merchandise returned to yyakar without a return authorization number will pay a non-negotiable re-stocking fee at 25% of the cost of the merchandise ordered, excluding tax and shipping. To request a return authorization number, please fill out the return form.
6.4 Will I be charged delivery cost for a return?
Yes, you are responsible for return delivery/shipping and we recommend purchasing delivery confirmation or tracking. In the event that you choose to forget secured tracking, yyakar is not responsible for the package if it is lost or otherwise not received.
6.5 Can I return or exchange my items at yyakar?
Yes they can be returned at the address of Yakar Design at Zijlweg 29 rood, 2013 DB Haarlem, the Netherlands.
6.6 Refund Policy
If the return policy requirements are met the customer will receive a refund of the product/merchandise cost within 14 days after receipt of the product/merchandise. There will be no refund of any paid delivery cost.
7 How to make an Exchange / Exchange Policy
If you wish to exchange a product, please fill out the return form as soon as possible to reserve another product colour or size. Exchanges could be done within a period of 14 days after you have received the goods. All full price items are eligible for a one time exchange within 14 days if the return policy requirements are met. Extra shipping costs may apply to an exchange
8 Discount Codes
8.1 The discount code is valid for a period of three months unless specified differently and can be used for full or part payment of orders via yyakar.com. Discount codes are not personal and are valid for three months from the date of purchase or from the date when items have been returned. The discount codes may not be exchanged for cash.
8.2 The coupon code expires after you use it to purchase from the web shop. If there is a remaining amount, we advise you to shop a little bit longer and add some extra items to your basket.
9 The webshop
9.1 If you experience technical problems with the webshop, please contact us and we get back to you within 3 days.
9.2 All content of yyakar including design, products, photographs, logos, and videos belong to yyakar or other parties we closely work with.
